The meeting consisted of industry experts from interior designers, stone fabricators, lighting and supporting associations such as NKBA-Ontario Chapter, IDC (Interior Designers of Canada) and Illuminating Engineering Society. The meeting discussed various areas of concern that the experts addressed, which included the need for further education and training for the workforce with more regulated guidelines to ensure the sustainability of a variety of professions in the Kitchen and Bath industry. Safety and accountability in stone fabrication and lighting were among the key concerns of the industry.
