Melissa Fields

Melissa Fields is the CEO and Principal Designer of Shades of Gray Design Studio, a San Antonio–based boutique interior design studio known for creating one-of-a-kind spaces with warmth, personality, and a strong point of view. With an intuitive ability to read rooms and the people who inhabit them, Melissa encourages clients to embrace bold design concepts that are balanced by understated comfort and livability throughout. Outside the studio, she spends her time with her family, in the air travelling (yes — she has a distinguished 20-year-career in the Air Force), or in search of the perfect pastry and bougie coffee spot.
