Cathy Purple Cherry, AIA, LEED AP is the founder and principal of Purple Cherry Architecture & Interiors, an award-winning residential design firm. The firm’s first book, The Design of a Country Estate, was published in August 2024; it showcases a manor home with eight companion buildings on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Cathy’s namesake firm has been devoted to creating luxurious residences across the United States for more than thirty years. Whether a home is traditional or contemporary, a multigenerational estate or a weekend getaway, the award-winning firm is guided by a desire to conceive exceptional spaces.
