Previously editor in chief of House Beautiful magazine, Sophie has authored several books including Uncommon Kitchens: A Revolutionary Approach to the Most Popular Room in the House (2023). Sophie has held top editor roles at Elle Decor, Martha Stewart Omnimedia, and Hampton Cottages & Gardens magazines; her work appears in Veranda, Frederic, the Wall Street Journal, and others. Her national broadcast appearances include the TODAY Show, Good Morning America, and Open House, and she recently hosted the Magnolia Network show Design Defined. A longtime New Yorker, Sophie now lives in Montréal.
