COVID 19 protocols
These are some of the protocols we are implementing to ensure the safety of our participants:
Sanitation and Cleaning Protocols
The Toronto Congress Centre uses cleaning products and protocols are approved for use and effective against viruses, bacteria, and other airborne pathogens. The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing has been increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces.
Registration
There will be multiple registration stations at the TCC and satellite registration stations at a select show official hotel will be utilized for badge pick up.
First Aid/Medical Response
KBC Expo will provide onsite First Aid Stations and a designated quarantine area. Participants will be asked not to attend if they are feeling unwell, and the event staff will follow local health authority guidance on detecting and managing anyone who displays symptoms of COVID-19.
Personal Protective Equipment
Masks will be recommended in adherence to state or local regulations and guidance. Appropriate masks and gloves will be worn by all TCC employees based on their role and responsibilities and in adherence to province or local regulations and guidance.
Hand Sanitizers
Hand sanitizer dispensers, whenever possible, will be placed throughout the Congress centre.
Physical Distancing
Social distancing will be encouraged through signage and floor decals. Table rounds, chairs, seating areas and other physical layouts will be arranged to ensure appropriate distancing.
Food and Beverage
KBC Expo Organizers will work with venue partners to employ the highest standard of food safety. For any events or food distribution areas, social distancing will be maintained through the use of floor markings and relevant signage.
